Web Part Error: This page has exceeded its data fetch limit for connected Web Parts

Hi Experts,

I have a display form with two custom list forms and both are connected to each other and they display the results according to the filter. But when ever I sort on any field, it gives the following error:

Web Part Error:  This page has exceeded its data fetch limit for connected Web Parts. Try disconnecting one or more Web Parts to correct the problem.
  I appreciate any help.
Thanks

SP:

Are you using SPServices on this page? If so, what function(s)?

Hi Mark,

No, I am not using SPServices, Instead I am using two custom list forms. Here is what I am trying to do.

I have projects Tracking List, whenever project item is clicked on the disp form it should should the corresponding tasks. So, On the Disp form .aspx page I have removed the existing Project view and added two custom list forms for Projects Tracking and Tasks.

I am looking for a solution.

Thanks for your time.

Well, you're in the Discussions on the SPServices site. I'd suggest that you post your question on the MSDN Forums, SPOverflow, EndUserSharePoint.com, or something.  This whole site is really for SPServices.

Thanks Mark for your response,

Can we implement the above scenario using SPServices, I heard a lot about SPServices and I am curious to use it.

I'm not sure that SPServices makes sense for this. Maybe DVWP(s)?  I'm really not clear on what you're trying to do.
