How to get Site / Web PropertyBag

Jan 5, 2012 at 2:40 PM

Hi Marc,

How to get all properties from SPPropertyBag any [Site.RootWeb.Properties] or Web.Properties by SPServices(). Maybe this functionality dosn't exist in current version SPServices().

If I write and publish new WebService in SharePoint [.\ISAPI\GetProperties.asmx] returned SPPropertyBag any Site or Web can I change SPServices() to get all Properties?

Any idea.

Regards, Andrzej

SPServices doesn't offer tha capability because SharePoint's Web Services don't offer it (as far as I know). If you write your own Web Service, then you don't really need SPServices, but you can use jQuery to make it easier to interact with your WS just as I have with SharePoint's native WSs.
