SPServices.SPCascadeDropdowns with allow multiple value child column

Sep 27, 2012 at 3:47 PM

Hello,

I would like to use a child column with allow multiple value.

When I change the value of the parent column, there is a soap request and the result is correct but child column display isn't update.

Do you know this problem ?

Thanks

kruello:

SPCascadeDropdowns works with any combination of the three types of lookup column "dropdowns": simple select, complex select, and multi-select. Check your lists to be sure they have the right structures and that each of your columns is a lookup into the right list.

If i remove the allow multiple value on the list column, the cascade dropdown works fine. So, it's well confirgured.

The allow multiple value column is the child column in the form with cascade dropwdown.

The form :

Region -> lookup on Region list

States -> allow multiple value and lookup on states list (title, Region lookup with multiple value)

Can you post your code?

Also, is Region in the States list a lookup column to Region.Title?
