Who can use this?

I'm trying to figure out who can use SPServices on my sharepoint portal. I'm currently a central administrator so I don't know how it would work for someone with lower permissions. How do the permissions work to begin with? Does it just find out who the current user is and determine if they are allowed to do a certain operation? I've made an application with various features using SPServices and I'm trying to find out if I gave it to someone with Full Control but not Collection Admin, would they even be able to use it? What kind of error would they get if they didn't have permissions?

Client side script ALWAYS runs with the permissions of the current user.

Simple rule.

The errors that occur if someone doesn't have permissions vary by operation.
