Is this now a default in your library? CAMLViewFields: “<ViewFields Properties=’True’ />

Not clear if your post is implying that SPServices is setting that attribute or that it should include that attribute as part of the ViewFields tag.

I alway thought that the library does not actually define a value for CAMLViewFields - you have to provide it on input.

Also, according to the MS schema documentation, <ViewFields> Tag Does not have any attributes:

If you don't specify a value for CAMLViewFields, then nothing is passed. I'm with Paul in wondering why you ask.

BTW, it's easy to check something like this by looking at the SPServices source. I don't think you'll find "Properties=’True’" in there anywhere.
