I have been able to pull off some rather complex business solutions by simply leveraging this library and the SharePoint web services. This is one of the required tools for many of my client projects.

This plugin has excellent support and the code behind the scenes matches as well. I'm learning jQuery and how it interacts with Sharepoint currently and without this library, I'd have to give up. SPServices is super simple to use and the documentation is always spot on. +1 to @sympmarc

This is a solid Sharepoint tool with fantastic documentation and support. Marc is very receptive to feedback and readily available for questions.
