Hi ,

I have a requirement, Where I want to create a new List item in Site A , when an Item is created in Site B.

As UpdateListItem is only works in current site, Can any body please suggest how to achieve this.

You should be able to update a list in any site by providing the webURL option. Check the docs.

[webURL], listName, updates, [batchCmd, valuepairs, ID]

Hi Marc,

Thank you for your support. Need your suggestion for the below scenario.

Whenever a New List Item is added to LIST-A, the same Item is going to be added to List-B of the childsite We are achieving this by SPServices “UpdateListItem” .  

Whenever any update occurs on List-A Items, the same should be reflected in List B items. 

So Is there any way to capture the List Item ID when creating a new Item, so we will pass the same ID to LIST- B .It will be useful while updating or deleting the occurrences.This Unique ID will be useful for tracking.

Or any alternative suggestions to achieve this.

Take a look at SPRedirectWithID. That's probably what you need.
