Show all contents of "Multiple lines of text"

I have a list that I need to create a print friendly view of the list. I can pull all of the required fields just fine.  When I go to display my "comments" field I only see the first comment.  Does anyone know how to loop through a "Multiple lines of text" field to display all of it's contents?

Are you talking about a field that you have setup as an Append Only type field? I believe that if this is the case, then SharePoint creates versions for each item when comments are added.

That is correct spevilgenius.  The multiple lines of text is a append only type field.  Do you know how to access these versions?

I think that you would have to find some way to loop through each version of the item to get all of the comments. This might take some time as you would be looping through each item and then have to loop through each version inside the item. I have not seen any other way to do this with web services but someone else may have a better solution.

That is exactly what I'm trying to do.  Not sure how to do it yet.  :-(

Here's an excellent post that shows you how to do that.  It's for a DVWP but it should be useful.

Yes, that's a great example. I had done this on server side code and basically its the same thing. Nice!
